Workshop
Several colleagues from UniPd, UPC, and TiHo, co-organised and presented at the Marine Mammal Necropsy Workshop held at the veterinary faculty of the University of Liège, Belgium, where they covered important theoretical and practical topics regarding the impact of underwater noise on marine life, recent developments in legislation, technological advancements in studying the effects associated with underwater noise, the significance of anatomical knowledge when performing postmortem investigations of marine mammals, and the sampling and fixation protocols for inner ear studies, fostering collaborations and building capacity for conservation amongst students and representatives of the ACCOBAMS agreement.
